and another play gym video- he is having too much fun with that!!

2 months old

This month passed by so fast. Samuel has a lot of alert time during the day now. He is usually up for about 1 1/2 hour now (eat and play) before he takes a 1 1/2 hour nap.
He loves to look at toys and things and tries to grab them, but hasn't quite figured out how to do that yet. He smiles, laughs and "talks" a lot- especially when he is in a good mood.
Today is his 2 month check up- yup, time for his shots. I think that will be harder on mommy then on him;) I will give you an update on how that went later today.


Und hier nun endlich auch mal was auf deutsch!
Samuel ist nun schon 2 Monate alt- wow wie die Zeit vergeht. Er ist jetzt tagsueber um einiges mehr wach- normalerweise 1 1/2 (zum stillen und dann spielen) und dann schlaeft er 1 1/2 Stunden.
Er liebt es Dinge und Spielsachen anzuschauen und versucht sie auch schon zu nehmen- hats aber noch nicht ganz rausgefunden wie das funktioniert. Er laechelt sehr oft und babbelt staendig vor sich hin- ab und zu kommt da auch mal ein juchzer(??) raus.
Heute gehen wir zum Kinderarzt- er bekommt unter anderen auch seine Impfungen. Ich glaub das wird schlimmer fuer die Mama als fuer den Samuel sein.

he discovered the play gym yesterday- he absolutly loves it!!

Pediatrician update:
He did fine- like I thought, it was harder on me then on him. He was such a trooper- he just cried while he got his shots. He has been sleeping since we got to the car.
His height is 22 1/4in and his weight is 10lbs 30oz. He is a healthy, growing boy!!

Der Kinderarzt besuch verlief ganz gut. Er hat nur geschrien als er die 5 Spritzen bekommen hat. Samuel ist kerngesund- er wiegt 4536 gramm und ist 56 centimeter lang.

Samuel is 7 weeks old today. He clearly recognizes Keith and me now- we get the biggest smiles when he sees us. Especially when Keith comes home from work he smiles so big at him- it's the cutest thing!

Samuel was 6 weeks yesterday. He weighs 9 pounds now- not sure how long he is. It seems like he is changing so fast. He started to intentionally smile last week and can focus on things and faces now. So much fun!
