Ta-da! It's a nursery....

nursery update #2

We got the dresser yesterday and Keith worked until midnight to put it together. I love it.
We also picked out paint colors- a blue and a light khaki tone, which will be divided by a snoopy wallpaper border. We are getting there.

Dallas Blooms!!

We spend yesterday afternoon at the Dallas Arboretum with the Hay's and Deniger's. Wow. What a showoff of God's creation. It was so beautiful- all the colors, smells and the perfect weather on top of all that. Good times.

nursery

I am getting pretty antsy about putting the nursery together now. This is what it looks like at this point:



The room itself just needs repainted. Our dresser should come sometimes next week. That will really help getting things into place.
Oh right, then there is the full size bed that needs to be put somewhere until the guest bedroom is finished. Hm. Still so much to do.
Hopefully in a week or two, I will have a progress update...

Tugger

Tugger has been laying his head on my tummy alot lately- it's pretty cute. Getting a picture of that is pretty much impossible though. But last night Keith caught him:

I sometimes wonder if they can sense that something is about to change here...

baby showers

Last weekend we had our 2 baby showers. They were both so much fun!!
On Saturday my friend Jessica organized one for "the girls".



And on Sunday our small group organized a couples shower for us.



We had awesome food, played some great games and got the most generous gifts!! Thank you so much!
