26 weeks

I am a little over 6 1/2 months pregnant now. So far it felt like my tummy is barely growing, but in the last 2 weeks I gained this basketball all the sudden!! Now for the first time people actually approach me, going "are you, ahem, you know.."? Fun times.

I am feeling pretty good. My back is usually hurting by the end of the day, but other then that, doing great!

Several of my friends have asked me to send them updated pics of my growing belly.... So here we go:

Well, just after deciding that we don't really need a bassinet I got an offer I couldn't resist. I found the one I wanted on Craig's list and I got her to go down in prize. Its barely used and she even gave me extra sheets with it. Love it!

25 week check-up

I went to Baylor this afternoon for another OB check-up. Everything looks great. The heartbeat sounded normal, my blood pressure is perfect and my weight gain is on target. Thank you Lord!
They want me to come back in 2 weeks for a Glucose test. It is not very common for white people to develop diabetes during pregnancy but they do the test to everybody just to rule it out. I will have to drink some gross fluid and then get blood drawn. Fun times... NOT!
Yesterday, on our way to a restaurant, I tripped and fell pretty hard and it really freaked me out. But I started to feel him kick and move shortly after that and I had no unusual pain (except for a pretty beat up knee...lol). One of the first questions they asked me today is if I fell lately...? guess its not as unusual as I thought....

First baby gift

We got our first official baby gift for christmas- a graco stroller with car seat and base. Thank You Doug!! Keith got so excited when he put it together on christmas day.

sonogram

About 6 week ago we had our sonogram and found out that we are having a healthy baby boy!! It was so fascinating to see him in such detail already! All his little fingers and toes, his spine, his beating heart.... He was very active the whole time.

Thank you Lord for this growing child in me. WOW!!
